Ridge 2 Pingry 2
A big-time battle of tough Skyland Conference teams ended in a tough-nosed 2-2 tie Thursday night. Ridge held a 2-0 lead midway through the first period, but Pingry battled back to tie it up at the end of the second period. Stellar goaltending from Marcus Fabiunke and Kevin Parnham highlighted a busy third.

Middletown North 3 Wall 1
Larry Gearl broke a 1-1 tie with a goal right in front of the net in the second period to give Middletown North a Shore Conference win to start 2020. John Miranda had the game-tying goal and Bob Fitzgerald added an empty netter for the Lions (5-5-1). Sean Kiewe had the lone goal for the Crimson Knights.
