We have an ACI Medical and Dental School Game of the Week doubleheader as Piscataway takes on St. Joe’s Metuchen in boys hoops, while the Manasquan girls take on Rumson-Fair Haven in a big Shore Conference battle. Plus, top-ten teams collide in boys basketball as Cherry Hill East meets Lenape in a rematch of the SJ Group 4 title game. Check back as the highlights are posted throughout the night!

Manasquan 53 Rumson-Fair Haven 41 | Girls

Jordyn Hollawell delivered a career high 23 points to lead the Warriors (12-1) to a quality road win after losing their first game of the year earlier this week to nationally ranked St. John Vianney.  Shannon Looney had 10 of her 12 points in the first half and helped spark a late second quarter run to give the Warriors a 23-18 lead.  Erin Reid led RFH (10-3) with 18 scoring her 1000th career point late in the fourth quarter.

Cherry Hill East 59 Lenape 50 | Boys

The ninth-ranked Cougars got a big spark from Chris Abreu and outscored the tenth-ranked Indians 16-4 in the final frame to take round one in the first of potentially three matchups between these Olympic Conference squads. Abreu scored 13 of his game-high 23 points in the second half to lead the way in the victory. Jamieson Young added 15 points, while Chris Delgado went for ten points for Cherry Hill East (11-0). Nolan Barnes scored a team-high 13 points, with Jaidyn Boyd and Colin Myers finishing with 12 and 11 points respectively for Lenape (9-2).
