Hamilton West 22 Steinert 6

Coming off three weeks of frustration and uncertainty whether they would play another game or not, Hamilton West (3-1) defeated Steinert (3-4) 22-6 in the 62nd annual meeting between these crosstown rivals. Running back Kevin Boswell ended the afternoon with 169 rushing yards and a score. The Hornets lead the series 36-25-1. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

Holy Spirit 39 Atlantic City 0

The Spartans put the finishing touches on an undefeated season with a shutout win over the Vikings to keep the Boyd-Marcyzk Trophy. Devin Lee rushed for 258 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. Sean Burns threw three touchdown passes, while C.J. Egrie intercepted a pass to help lead the Spirit defense.

Highland 28 Triton 0

The Tartans relied heavily on a strong ground game in a lopsided victory over the rival Mustangs. Mike D’Amico and Mohammad Lightsey each scored two touchdowns in the win. Highland has now won three games in a row in this annual rivalry game. The game was called with nine minutes left in the fourth quarter after a fight broke out between both teams.
