Delbarton 34 CBA 20 | Non-Public “A” State Final
The Green Wave racked up six straight wins from 150-215 pounds and accumulated 10 bonus points to CBA’s two on the way to closing out the team season with another dominant performance. Jayden James and CJ Betz had tech falls with Gabe Logan scoring a pin in between the duo to give the Green Wave 16 points and a 27-6 lead. Jessie DeNegri’s 7-2 decision at 215 pounds helped seal the victory for New Jersey’s #1 team.

Camden Catholic 53 Pope John 19 | Non-Public “B” State Final
For the second year in a row, Camden Catholic (17-0) completes a perfect season with a win over Pope John (11-3) in the Non-Public B Final. Navy commit and New Jersey’s No. 1-ranked 132-pounder, Sammy Spaulding, put on another masterclass with a second-period pin. The Fighting Irish also saw pins from Chase Martino, EJ Bonnette, Michael Craft, and New Jersey’s No. 1-ranked 157-pounder, Kage Jones.

Jackson Township 47 Morris Hills 15 | Girls State Final
No. 1 Jackson Township girls wrestling made history on Sunday, becoming the NJSIAA’s first ever girls wrestling team state champions after defeating No. 5 Morris Hills 47-15. Madison Rucci (114) and Marlowe Donato (120) opened things up for the Jaguars with two MDs. Emily Diaz Santos then picked up a decision win over Jada Figueroa at 126, before Jackson rattled off three pins in a row from Briana Dugo (132), Victoria Tandari (138), and ElleCe McGinley (145) to go up 26-3.
Taylor Curatola’s (152) decision win over Nora Shemon meant that Riley Thorne needed a win at 165 over Chelsea Pinto to clinch the state title. She came through in spades with a pinfall!

Southern 56 Old Bridge 15 | Group 5 State Final
The Rams won 11 of 14 matches to win a remarkale fourth consecutive state championship. Southern trailed 9-6 after Old Bridge’s Gavin Young got a pin at 113 pounds but the Rams would roll off six straight wins starting with a Cade Collins pin at 120 and capped off by an Attila Vigilante tech fall at 150.

Mount Olive 47 Toms River East 22 | Group 4 State Final
Mount Olive (19-2) stormed back from a 14-3 deficit to defeat Toms River East 47-22 and win the Group 4 state championship at Jersey Mike’s Arena. After the Raiders grabbed early momentum, the Marauders flipped the dual with back-to-back pins from Colin Smyth at 157 and Scott Coppolo at 165 to take the lead for good. Mount Olive rolled off six straight bonus-point wins during the decisive stretch, including tech falls from Stephen Hayek, Justin Bullock and Jared Martini, along with a forfeit to Nico Gonzalez at 215. Anthony Piemonte capped the night with a 29-second fall at 126 as the Marauders secured their second Group 4 state title.

Delsea 51 Brick Memorial 22 | Group 3 State Final
The drive for five is complete for Delsea wrestling as the Crusaders defeated Brick Memorial 51-22 on Sunday to win their fifth Group 3 state title in a row! The afternoon started off hot for the Crusaders with pinball wins by Greyson Pettit (132) and Amari Vann (138). Anthony DePaul then notched a tech fall win over Logan Cromen at 144 to make it 17-0 Delsea.
The Mustangs’ Lucas Sei picked up a tech fall win of his own over Jordon Pellilo (150), but the Crusaders then went on a run. Lucas Coesfield defeated Brody Maratta by decision (157), Jamison Devlin (165) scored a tech fall, and Cameron Pote (175) and Greg Sawyer (190) each scored pinfalls to make it 37-5. To clinch the title, star 215er Sal Marchese pinned Brewer Cosgrove in 44 seconds!

Rumson-Fair Haven 35 Lower Cape May 33 | Group 2 State Final
In the closest dual of the Sunday slate, Rumson-Fair Haven (18-4) and Lower Cape May (22-4) went to the wire. Iowa commit Sonny Amato, Ryder Izzo, and Wyatt Fry earned back-to-back-to-back pins, en route to the Bulldogs’ dramatic victory and to completing a Group 2 three-peat.

Delaware Valley 65 Emerson-Park Ridge 8 | Group 1 State Final
Delaware Valley capped off a historic 24-0 season in dominant fashion, rolling past Emerson-Park Ridge 65-8 to capture its 12th state championship at Jersey Mike’s Arena. Luken Alberdi set the tone with a first-period fall at heavyweight and the Terriers never looked back. Del Val piled up seven pins, a tech fall, three major decisions and a forfeit, winning 12 of 14 bouts to repeat as Group 1 state champions. Michael Hasson, Sebastian Dobak and Jacob Edwards were part of a decisive middleweight surge that blew the dual open as the Terriers secured back-to-back titles and the program’s first unbeaten and untied season.
