Saddle River Day 55 Immaculate Heart Academy 49 – Bergen County Tournament Girls Final

Put them in the record books! Top-seeded Saddle River Day became only the second team in county history to record four-consecutive Bergen County Tournament championships after knocking off No. 2 seed IHA. Michigan commit Michelle Sidor dropped a game-high 22 points and future Duke Blue Devil Jaida Patrick went off with 16 points and 10 boards. JSZ’s Jay Cook has the highlights from Ramapo College:

Ranney 72 Middletown South 53

No. 1 in the NJ Top 20, Ranney advanced to the semifinals of the Shore Conference Tournament with a 72-53 victory over Middletown South. After an uncharacteristic first half that saw Villanova bound star Bryan Antoine held to just three points, the Panthers turned it in the third quarter thanks to a barrage of dunks to take a 26 point lead entering the fourth. Antoine would finish with 13 points, Florida commit Scottie Lewis had 18 and Phillip Wheeler dropped 20 points. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:
