St. Joe’s (Mont.) 30 Delbarton 26 | Non-Public “A” State Final
The Green Knights said they were doubted and counted out – but they are the last one’s standing in New Jersey. St. Joe’s Mont. wrestled with clear intentions to prove they were the top-ranked team in the Garden State and confirmed it Sunday with their second team state championship in the last three seasons. Vinny Paino’s UTB win at 132, Anthony Harris’ pin at 215 and JoJo Burke’s match-clinching win at 106 were just a few of the incredible victories that sixth-seeded St. Joe’s Mont. (14-3) earned to get the job done. Top-seed Delbarton (23-4) was ranked as high as No. 6 nationally by FloWrestling coming into the day.

Camden Catholic 32 Pope John 30 | Non-Public “B” State Final
The Irish trailed by four heading into the final bout of the afternoon before Chase Martino (120) delivered a first period pin to clinch a perfect season and the 19th state title in program history. Navy commit Sammy Spaulding defeated Buffalo commit Dalton Weber with a 4-1 decision at 132 in a high-profile battle between two of NJ’s best. Lazarus Joyce got the day started with a first period pin at 126 for Camden Catholic (17-0). Cole Dunham (175) and Jarrod Cofrancesco (285) won by fall in the loss for Pope John (11-6).

Southern Regional 58 Bridgewater-Raritan 18 | Group 5 State Final
After trading pins to open the dual, the Rams rattled off seven-straight wins as they rolled to their third-straight Group 5 championship, clinching the first three-peat in school history. Bucknell commit Anthony Mason scored a first period pin at 133 to secure his 100th career victory. Cash McVey (126), Scottie Sari (138), Noah Fontana (157), Wyatt Stout (165), Levi Foote (190), and Caleb Counts (285) also won by fall in the victory for Southern (20-3). Andrew Adell (120), Matthew Di Eduardo (175), and Trent Levash (215) notched pins in the loss for Bridgewater-Raritan (21-8), which was making its first state final appearance in program history.

North Hunterdon 37 Phillipsburg 27 | Group 4 State Final
Anthony DeSimone’s single leg takedown in the third period secured a 9-7 decision at 215 pounds and clinched a state championship for the Lions. Reid Buzby got a come from behind 4-2 win at 126 pounds with just :06 left in the third period. North Hunterdon head coach Dave Bell won 11 state championships at Bergen Catholic and brings a state title home to the Lions in just his second season.

Delsea 45 Brick Memorial 30 | Group 3 State Final
The Crusaders won the first six matches of the dual and a total of six pins to win a fourth consecutive state championship. Joel Anderson’s pin at 175 pounds clinched the state title for Delsea with six matches to go. Brick Memorial won five straight after the match was decided.

Rumson-Fair Haven 40 Caldwell 28 | Group 2 State Final
Elijah Bayne’s pin in the final match at 120 pounds was the clincher for the Bulldogs to win their second straight state championship. RFH built a 34-19 lead with pins from Sonny Amato at 144 and Matt Smith at heavyweight before Caldwell got a pin by Matt Ruane at 106 and a 7-4 win from Carmine Sipper to close the deficit to 34-28 but Bayne delivered the clincher. RFH finishes the season with a stellar 28-1 record featuring wins over state champion Southern Regional and state finalists Phillipsburg and Brick Memorial.

Delaware Valley 47 Hanover Park 16 | Group 1 State Final
The Terriers won their 3rd Group 1 Championship in 4 years in dominant fashion. Jackson Bush picked up career win #100 in the victory, while the Delaware Valley(19-3) team recorded 3 pins and 4 technical falls in their championship victory against Hanover Park(17-7).
