Those highlights and more coming soon! Stay tuned!

Phillipsburg 28 Westfield 0 | Big Central Conference

The Stateliners were Group 4 state finalists last season and look very talented again coming into 2025. Senior captain Sam Dech exploded for three touchdown runs – including a school-record 95-yard rushing TD – to highlight a career day. Phillipsburg (1-0) leaned on their defense, too, which generated a shutout and two turnovers in the win. Westfield (1-1) will look to regroup when they go on the road to face Elizabeth in Week 2.

Freehold Township 41 Colts Neck 12 | Shore Conference

Dakota Lasater had two touchdown runs and two TD passes to lead the Patriots to their second straight win to start the season.  The Patriots, known for their Air Raid offense, had four rushing touchowns to reach 2-0 on the young season.

Camden Eastside 14 Willingboro 7 | West Jersey Football League

Naeem Dale connected with Dymear Hill for an 80-yard touchdown on the opening play, then the Tigers leaned on a stout defensive effort led by NC State commit Elijah Satchell to snap a two-game losing streak against the Chimeras. Dale added a rushing touchdown in the third, which proved to be the difference for Camden Eastside (2-0). Omar Messum had a 30-yard rushing touchdown in the loss for Willingboro (1-1).

JSZ’s James Mooney has the highlights and reaction from Farnham Park:

Trenton 33 Hightstown 14 | West Jersey Football League

Down 14-7 after the third quarter, it looked like Trenton was out of gas — until they came alive. Keith Williams connected on two touchdown passes to 6’4″ junior wideout Aivaye Ingram, sparking a 26-point fourth quarter for the Tornadoes. Williams also punched in a score on a QB sneak to open the frame. Trenton (2-0) stays perfect with the win over CVC rival Hightstown (1-1) and will hit the road for a third straight week next Saturday to take on Hamilton West.

West Morris 41 Morris Knolls 31 | Super Football Conference

QB Stephen Braccioforte delivered through the air and on the ground, spotlighted by a 39-yard hail mary to Teddy Olsen with ONE second left in the first half, and Deacon Frayne broke free for two touchdowns to power West Morris past rival Morris Knolls in a lightning-delayed showdown.
