Paulsboro 25 Salem 17
The Red Raiders came out on top in a hotly contested battle between Group 1 contenders and handed the Rams their first loss of the season. Senior RB Ameer “Manny” Bateman ran wild for 231 yards and a touchdown in the win for Paulsboro (3-1). Junior LB Amare Smith got on the board with a 75-yard pick-six in the loss for Salem (4-1).

Northern Highlands 14 Eastside 6
Northern Highlands (4-0) has one of North Jersey’s most explosive offenses, but it was a spirited defensive effort that paced them to a gritty divisional win. Enzo Arjona connected with Kyle Major for two touchdown passes and the defense held Eastside (3-1) to only 133 yards of total offense.

Cedar Creek 21 Woodrow Wilson 8
The Pirates may have allowed points for the first time all season, but the Creek defense was still sensational. Malik Moore-Summers had a pair of sacks, while Zaire Pilgrim had an interception and a fumble recovery. Ja’Quan Howard rushed for a pair of touchdowns for Cedar Creek (5-0) in the win. Naz’sir Oglesby rushed for the Tigers’ (2-2) only touchdown in the loss.

Donovan Catholic 35 Colts Neck 0
Nunes Bukula IV had 230 yards rushing and a score to compliment Kyree Drake’s three first-half touchdowns in Donovan Catholic’s dominant effort on the road. DC had 504 yards of total offense while giving up just 57. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from the Shore Conference:
