A pair of Super Football Conference showdowns highlight another tremendous Saturday of high school football in New Jersey. Check back as the highlights are posted throughout the night!
St. Joe’s (Mont.) 44 Paramus Catholic 19 | Super Football Conference
Junior QB Lamar Best opened Saturday with a jaw-dropping run and ultimately finished with an absurd stat line to propel the Green Knights to a divisional win over the Paladins. Best’s 45-yard touchdown run in the first quarter will go down as one of the plays of the 2024 season. He closed the day with 198 total yards and 6 total TD’s in a lopsided win. Holy Cross commit Vin Ferrara had a fantastic game and led St. Joe’s (3-1) defensively in the win. Paramus Catholic (2-1) had trouble generating offense throughout the game – senior Crew Colon had a rushing TD in the loss.
