Westfield 37 Elizabeth 21 | Big Central Conference
Cole Weidler threw four touchdown passes headlined by Enzo Ferrero making six catches for 180 yards and three touchdowns as the Blue Devils gave head coach Matt Andzel his first career win. Blake Rudow added 148 yards on the ground on 32 carries. Elizabeth played its first game since head coach John Fiore was fired for an alleged recruiting violation. Coach Austin Holman had just two days with his new team before playing.

Burlington Twp. 21 Haddon Heights 0 | West Jersey Football League
The Falcons continued its red-hot start to the season as they handled Haddon Heights on the road. Aiden Binns rushed for a pair of touchdowns to lead the way, while Baron Davis and Jules Carter connected for a touchdown in the win. Jimmy Sackie and Chase Carthan had interceptions to highlight a stingy effort on defense for Burlington Township (3-0). Amare Ridley recovered a fumble in the loss for Haddon Heights (0-2).

Morris Knolls 34 Bridgewater-Raritan 14 | Non-Conference
The Golden Eagles leaned on a relentless rushing attack and stiff defense to win their 2024 home opener. QB Christopher Kaiser had 10 carries for 115 yards and two TD runs, including 64 passing yards and an additional passing touchdown in the win. Justin Hanson (84 yards, 1 TD) and Bobby Brickner (100 yards, 1 TD) helped Morris Knolls (2-0) pile up 328 yards on the ground. Knolls’ defense logged four sacks and three interceptions in the win. Nick DiEsso scored two touchdowns for Bridgewater-Raritan (1-2) in the loss.

Red Bank Catholic 41 Long Branch 7 | Shore Conference
Frankie Williams threw three touchdown passes and ran for another as the Caseys (1-2) got back on track with their first win of the 2024 season. Sophomore RB Jordan Mosenthine had a pair of second quarter touchdowns to help the Caseys jump out to a 21-0 lead. Williams threw TD passes to Chris Gibson and Daniel Zabora in the third quarter to put the game away.
