St. Joseph (Hamm.) 34 Highland 20
Wildcats senior Jada Byers was electric in his 2019 debut. Byers finished with over 200 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns. Jayden Shertel connected with Keshon Griffin for a touchdown, while Cohl Mercado also scored for St. Joe. Johnny Martin finished with 240 yards rushing and a pair of late touchdowns for the Tartans in the loss.

St. Peter’s Prep 48 Millville 0
The Tahj Bullock era is underway at St. Peter’s Prep. The junior signal-caller got the first start of his anticipated career and did not disappoint, throwing for three touchdowns and running in for one more. Ohio State commit Cody Simon was a menace on defense, collected two interceptions, one going for a pick-six.

Seton Hall Prep 42 Archbishop Carroll (PA) 20
Matt Colantuono had 245 yards and three TD’s including a 97-yard gallop to put the game away as the Pirates win their first opening week game since 2015. Zander Zebrowski threw two TD passes including a 15-yard toss to Giye Jenkins with :08 seconds left in the second quarter to give the Pirates a 21-6 halftime lead.
