Summit 10 Scotch Plains-Fanwood 5 | Boys | Union County Tournament Final
The Hilltoppers broke a 5-5 tie at the seven minute mark of the third quarter with five straight goals to win their seventh UCT in the last eight years and 17th overall. Cole Sabol, Jack Freeman and Quinn Hynes each scored a pair of goals for the Hilltoppers (13-1) who overcame a 3-1 deficit at the end of the first quarter with four straight goals in the second. SPF (13-3), playing in its first UCT final, tied the game on Vance Slack’s second goal before Summit took over. An Andrew Smallwood FOGO goal and goalie Robbie Kievit’s long pass for an assist to Chris Davies highlighted the five goal surge.

Don Bosco Prep 8 Ridgewood 2 | Boys | Bergen County Tournament Final
John Devir, Brady Kushner and Hudson Villaruel each had two goal games to lead the Ironmen to a sixth consecutive Bergen County Tournament title. The Ironmen (10-5) are on a seven game win streak while Ridgewood (10-4) has won 10 of its last 12 with the only two losses coming against Don Bosco.

Livingston 8 Verona 3 | Boys | Essex County Tournament Final
For 12 seasons, Seton Hall Prep ruled the Essex County boys lacrosse tournament. After winning 12 straight county titles, the Pirates elected to opt out of this season’s ECT, opening the door for a championship matchup between previously undefeated fourth-seeded Verona (12-1) and seventh-seeded Livingston (11-6). Will Davis recorded his fifth straight hat trick, while Dylan Levine made 11 saves in goal as Livingston captured its first-ever Essex County title, becoming just the second program to win the championship since 2012.

Oak Knoll 9 Kent Place 6 | Girls | Union County Tournament Final
Notre Dame commit Maris McGinty scored five goals to lead the Royals (13-3) to the Union County title after falling the previous two years to Summit in the finals. Angeli Garcia had nine saves in net as Oak Knoll raced out to a 6-1 lead in the first half. Kaitlyn Quinn had four goals for the Dragons (11-2) reaching 300 career points in a losing effort. Freshman Kiersten Oakes had a pair of goals with Taylor Martin and and Lauren Dietrich finding the net for Oak Knoll, who are on a ten game win streak.

Morristown 8 Chatham 7 | Girls | Morris County Tournament Final
No. 8 Morristown girls lacrosse (11-4) are once again Morris County Tournament champions after knocking off defending champions No. 6 Chatham (9-6) 8-7 on Saturday at Drew University. This marks their third county title in the last four years.
The Colonials were led by Michigan commit Caroline Condon who scored a hat trick and made a key defensive play in the final minutes, knocking the ball out of Peyton Furst’s stick as she was about to shoot for the possible game-tying goal. For her efforts Saturday and in the tournament as a whole, she was named MCT Most Valuable Player.
Condon was followed by George Mason commit Mayson Davie, who had two goals. Furst was the leading scorer for the Cougars with two of her own.
