Rumson-Fair Haven 3 Red Bank Catholic 1 (10 innings)

Brian Doherty’s base hit up the middle in the top of the 10th inning plated Charlie Tallman and Andrew Schmid to give RFH (8-2) its fifth straight win and snapped RBC’s (9-2) eight-game win streak. The Caseys Shane Panzini threw a one-hitter over seven innings striking out 14 while RFH starter Charlie Jones threw seven innings and giving up just a Matt Scrivanic RBI double in the first inning. RFH drew even in the 6th inning thanks to a pair of errors and was able to endure a 20-minute rain delay in the bottom of the 7th to force extras. Hun 7 Holy Spirit 4

In the midst of a tough road trip to end the regular season, the Raiders knocked off the Spartans to pick up its 15th-straight win. Hun (15-1) used a three-run outburst in the sixth inning to break the game open, capped off by a two-RBI triple from Lafayette-commit Ben Petrone. Carson Wehner, Michael Chiaravallo, and Ryan DiMaggio each knocked in a run for the Raiders in the victory. Trevor Cohen, David Hagaman, and Shane Solari each batted in a run for Holy Spirit (7-6) in the loss.
