Our championship run continues as we bring you two more exciting county championship games. Check out the highlights from Somerset and Middlesex counties!

Pingry 14 Bridgewater-Raritan 6 | Somerset County Tournament Final

Asher Ziv’s seven-point outburst helped propel the Big Blue to their second-straight Somerset County title win, with both coming over the Panthers. Third-seeded Pingry (13-2) held a three-goal lead at halftime and then exploded with six unanswered goals in the third quarter to pull away for good. Dylan Blekicki buried a game-high five goals in the win. Top-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan (16-2) defeated Pingry in double overtime almost two weeks ago, but couldn’t find a real offensive groove in this game.

JSZ’s Jay Cook has the highlights and reaction from the Torpey Athletic Complex in Bridgewater:

Monroe 7 St. Joseph (Metuchen) 3 | Greater Middlesex Conference Final

(1) Monroe defeated (2) St. Joseph (Metuchen) 7-3 to raise a fifth straight Greater Middlesex Conference Championship. The Falcons went ahead 3-1 at halftime on scores from Chris Chaves and Christian Updale. St. Joe’s would open the third quarter with back to back scores to tie the game at 3-3, but two more goals from Chaves and another from Updale would put the contest out of reach late in the fourth.

JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights and postgame reaction from Sayreville:
