Ranney 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 0 | Monmouth County Tournament Semis
Freshman Jake Abrams threw a complete game three-hitter with eight strikeouts and Justin Kauffman made a leaping catch to take away a homer in the third to help earn Ranney a spot in the Monmouth County Tournament championship game. The Panthers scored a run on a wild pitch in the 4th and added a Ricky Lopez sacrifice fly in the 5th and that was all Abrams needed. Ranney (8-7) has won six of their last seven games and will face Howell in the MCT title game.
