Seton Hall Prep 6 Livingston 0 | 92nd Greater Newark Tournament Final

The Pirates battled past the Lancers to secure their 20th all-time GNT championship in a resounding shutout effort. Wake Forest commit Marcelo Harsch was stellar on the mound, striking out 11 batters over six shutout innings while allowing just three hits and two walks. Will Mahala cranked a solo home run while Henry Ayers and William Garrett each contributed two RBI in the win.

Jackson Memorial 5 Toms River East 4 | Shore Conference Tournament Quarterfinal

Charlie Buchinsky’s RBI single in the sixth inning proved to be the difference as the seventh-seeded Jaguars won a back-and-forth contest with the second-seeded Raiders. Aidan Alu tied the game with a RBI single in the fifth, while Brady Wendell opened the scoring with a RBI single in the victory. Matt Colaneri tossed a complete game with six strikeouts to pick up the win for Jackson Memorial (11-7). Joey DiMeo smashed a two-run home run in the loss for Toms River East (14-6). Jackson Memorial advances to face third-seeded Red Bank Catholic on Monday.
