Mainland 3 Delsea 2 | Diamond Classic Semifinal

Luca Bruno hit an RBI single to give the Mustangs a walk-off win over the Crusaders. Bruno had two RBIs on the day for Mainland (14-8). Army commit Finn Haines finished with 15 strikeouts to earn a complete game win on the mound. The Mustangs advance to face Haddonfield in the Diamond Classic final on Tuesday. Ethan DuBois had a solo home run for Delsea (18-2) in the loss.

Haddonfield 5 Cherokee 2 | Diamond Classic Semifinal

The Bulldogs put together a four-run second inning, then played tremendous defense behind pitchers Will Solak and Jackson Gayer to punch their ticket to Tuesday’s championship game. Leo Nelson had a two-run single to jump start the big inning in the victory. Dan Keenan drove in a run and came up with an unassisted double play to get Haddonfield (16-4) out of a bases loaded jam in the sixth. Alex Odud homered and finished with 2 RBIs in the loss for Cherokee (20-1). Haddonfield will look to complete its incredible run against Mainland in the finals of the Diamond Classic on Tuesday night in Pitman.
