We’ve got two great games involving four top 20 ranked teams!  Check out all the action from Delbarton/Ranney and Donovan Catholic/RBC from Saturday!

Delbarton 7 Ranney 6

Did we have our first early Game of the Year nominee on Saturday? It sure looks like it. The Green Wave and Panthers each slugged three homers each in an absolute slugfest of a game. A three-run home run from freshman Sal Garcia highlighted a powerful fifth inning for Delbarton (5-2) in which they took the lead and never looked back. Ranney (6-1) got a mesmerizing performance from senior Duke commit AJ Gracia, who smashed a pair of home runs in the loss.

Red Bank Catholic 7 Donovan Catholic 2

Alex Stanyek started off a five-run first inning with a leadoff homer and Steve Svenson pitched a two-hitter allowing just one earned run striking out 8 to give the Caseys (5-1) a fifth straight win and a victory against a state-ranked opponent.  Shane Andrus added a two-run homer and Matt Brunner had a two run single and an amazing catch in center to highlight the Caseys win.
