The final day of the 2021 season is here, and JSZ has highlights from great games all around the Garden State. Thanks for watching all season long!

Roselle Catholic 64 Bergen Catholic 58 (OT) | Boys

The only thing missing from this duel between top five teams in New Jersey was a Tournament of Champions trophy hoisted at the game’s conclusion. Bergen Catholic and Roselle Catholic have been top teams in the Garden State all season long and closed the 2021 campaign with a mammoth clash. The Crusaders were red hot early and held a 17 point lead going into halftime but saw that dissipate after charged second-half performances from Simeon Wilcher (17 points), Corey Floyd Jr. (14 points) and Amar’e Marshall (14 points). The Lions dug deep in overtime and pulled out a gutsy win.

JSZ’s Jay Cook has the highlights + reaction from Oradell:

Thanks to Rothman Orthopaedics for sponsoring Jersey Sports Zone’s coverage of Bergen Catholic all season long.

Nottingham 75 Robbinsville 53 | Boys| CVC Pod “A” Final

After a hectic week of scheduling, Nottingham (13-2) defeated Robbinsville (10-3) 75-53 in the Colonial Valley Conference Pod A final. The North Stars extended the lead to 51-36 after the third quarter following a second half scoring frenzy from senior Donavin Crawford. Crawford ended the evening with 14 points. Robbinsville was without its normal starting rotation, who were forced to quarantine after facing an opponent earlier in the week who had multiple Covid-19 cases. Their semifinal opponent Trenton (10-2) forfeited despite no positive tests, which landed the Ravens in the big game.

JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights and postgame reaction from Hamilton:

Thank you to Princeton Orthopaedic Associates for sponsoring both our Nottingham and Robbinsville coverage.

St. John Vianney 61 Red Bank Catholic 34 | Girls | Shore Conference Pod “A” Championship

Madison St. Rose scored 20 points and St. John Vianney clamped down on defense to close out a perfect 14-0 season with a second straight Shore Conference Tournament title. RBC did not score a field goal in the second and third quarters as the Lancers outscored the Caseys 35-7 in that span. SJV is the undisputed #1 team in New Jersey after winning eight of their 14 games against top-15 teams. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights and post-game reaction from Holmdel:

Haddonfield 47 Middle Twp. 37 | Girls
