The spring season is off and running as JSZ goes around the Garden State for three great matchups in boys lacrosse. Delbarton and Ridgewood collide in a top-ten clash, Rumson-Fair Haven looks to continue a red-hot start against Randolph, and fifth-ranked CBA heads to South Jersey for a showdown with St. Augustine. Delbarton 10 Ridgewood 6 | Boys

Three different Green Wave players had multi-goal games to fuel a home-opening win against a talented Maroons squad. Alex Schobel (three goals), Peter Falk (two goals) and Gavin Romweber (two goals) paced Delbarton (2-1) to a convincing win Saturday afternoon. Ridgewood (0-1) will look to get their first win of the 2025 campaign early next week when they host Montclair.

Rumson-Fair Haven 12 Randolph 7 | Boys

Joseph Whitehouse had four goals and two assists and Luke Lydon added a hat trick to lead Rumson-Fair Haven to a third straight win to start the season.  The Bulldogs had a 4-0 lead after one and an 8-3 halftime advantage.

St. Augustine 7 CBA 6 | Boys

Brayson Thurber delivered the go-ahead goal with ten minute to go, then Elizabethtown College commit Ben Zaitz made some big saves down the stretch as the Hermits held on against the fifth-ranked Colts. Penn State commit Ryan Wodazak led the way with a game-high four goals for St. Augustine (2-0). St. John’s commit Sebastian Varallo netted his fourth goal of the season in the victory. Daniel Varone scored a pair of goals in the loss for Christian Brothers Academy (0-2).
