Bergen Catholic 78 Gill St. Bernard’s 63 | Boys

Bergen Catholic’s talented junior duo of Will Richardson (21 points) and Julian Brown (19 points) gave the Crusaders the boost they needed to keep their red-hot start going against a talented Gill St. Bernard’s team. Freshmen Elliot Cadeau (8 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists) and Terry Copeland (14 points, 8 rebounds) also shined for the Crusaders, who had to deal with a game-high 33 points from Denver Anglin.

Camden Catholic 76 Moorestown 53 | Boys

Temple commit Zach Hicks had a day to remember for the Irish. Hicks poured in a game-high 32 points, and surpassed the 1,000 career point mark in a victory over the Quakers. Lucas Dunn added 15 points for Camden Catholic (2-0). James Byrd scored 14 points for Moorestown (3-2) in the loss.

Hightstown 74 Notre Dame 69 | Boys

Hightstown (3-1) defeated Notre Dame (1-1) 74-69 behind a 20-point effort from Rohan Cukkemane. The Rams, locked into a tight battle for the first two quarters, opened up the scoring in the third to lead by as many as nine. However, Notre Dame would fight back to tie it late in the fourth quarter. With seconds remaining, Keenan Reiss knocked down a pair of clutch free throws to put the game out of reach. Reiss would finish with 12 points.

Cherry Hill East 42 Eastern 37 | Boys

E.J. Matthews-Spratley scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Cougars (3-1) to victory in the Olympic Conference tilt. Lindenwold transfer Tazir Cantey made his debut for the Vikings (2-3) and scored a game-high 21 points in the loss.

Cherry Hill West 62 Washington Twp. 52 | Boys

The Lions used a balanced offensive attack to take down the Minutemen and get themselves back to the .500 mark on the season. West (2-2) got huge contributions from brothers Lucas Flynn (team-high 18 points) and Stephen Flynn (14 points) to help bring home its second win of the season. Drew Amos scored a game-high 19 points in the loss for Washington Twp. (2-2).
