St. Joe’s (Mont.) 76 Teaneck 65 | Bergen Jamboree Quarterfinal

Monty Nedd and Jahmir Joseph combined to score 40 points for the fifth-seeded Green Knights in a statement win over the Top 20 state-ranked and fourth-seeded Highwaymen in county tournament action Saturday afternoon. Nedd led St. Joe’s (15-7) with a team-high 21 points while Joseph logged 19 points in the win. Teaneck (18-5) got a great effort from Towson-bound senior Tyler Tejada, who pumped in a game-high 29 points and nine rebounds. St. Joe’s advances to face top-seeded Don Bosco in the semifinals next Saturday.

Saint Rose 59 CBA 51 | Boys

Matt Hodge and Jayden Hodge each scored 12 points to lead a balanced attack as Purple Roses head coach Brian Lynch returned to his high school alma mater for the first time to give Saint Rose a 19-2 regular season.  CBA gave Saint Rose a tussle taking a 15-14 lead after one thanks to a Will Bradley three-pointer at the buzzer.  Saint Rose led by one at the half and at the end of three quarters before the Purple Roses took control of the game in the fourth quarter.  Peter Noble led CBA with 17.  Saint Rose is the second seed in the upcoming Shore Conference Tournament, while CBA grabbed the #7 seed.

Ewing 55 Colonia 43 | Boys

No. 19 Ewing (19-2) picked up back to back wins following a 55-43 victory over Colonia (16-6). The Blue Devils led 31-24 at halftime thanks to a 12 point performance from senior Darnelle Forrest, Forrest ended the game with 24 points total as Ewing went up by as many as 11 in the third quarter. Kenny Rankin finished with 14 points.

Elizabeth 69 St. Joseph Academy 35 | Boys | Battle by the Bay

The Minutemen are getting hot at the right time as they cruised to their sixth-straight win in Atlantic City. London Carson got cooking early and often on his way to a game-high 24 points in the win. Augustine McGee (16 points) and Cameron McRae (14 points) each finished in double-figures for Elizabeth (12-6). Arnaldo Rodriguez and Devon Theophile both finished with a team-high 13 points in the loss for St. Joseph Academy (11-11).

Eastside 63 Egg Harbor Twp. 60 | Boys | Battle by the Bay

The Tigers edged the Eagles in a back-and-forth battle in Atlantic City. Jeremiah Bright scored a game-high 22 points in the win for Eastside (12-3). Jay-Nelly Reyes scored a team-high 17 points, while DJ Germann added 16 points for EHT (18-5) in the loss.
