St. Peter’s Prep 52 Hudson Catholic 40 | Boys | Hudson County Tournament Final

Mason Santiago’s hot streak in the second half helped the Marauders rally to win their third-consecutive county championship. St. Peter’s Prep (21-4) scored twice as many points as Hudson Catholic (19-5) after halftime (34-17) to lock up the win. Santiago led all players with a game-high 18 points in the win. Richie Rosa accounted for 16 points and Derek Gomez stepped up with 10 points in the win. Omari Moore led the Hawks with 12 points in the loss. A confirmed crowd of 1,800 fans were on hand for one of the state’s most heated basketball rivalries.

St. Augustine 52 Wildwood Catholic 47 | Boys | Cape-Atlantic League Tournament Final

The sixth-seeded Hermits raced out to an early lead before holding off the fifth-seeded Crusaders down the stretch to win the CAL Tournament title. Rory Friel scored a game-high 19 points and was named MVP for St. Augustine (16-12). Riley Powell scored a team-high 15 points for Wildwood Catholic (18-8) in the loss.

Overbrook 52 Kingsway 49 | Boys | Tri-County Conference Tournament Flight “A” Final

Xavier Wright sunk the go-ahead free throw with 46 seconds remaining as the Rams outlasted the Dragons to win its first TCC Flight “A” championship since 2022. Wright finished with 14 points, while Lamar Little scored all of his team-high 17 points in the second half for top-seeded Overbrook (23-3). Dasir Williams-Bey went for a game-high 18 points in the loss for second-seeded Kingsway (22-5).

Gill St. Bernard’s 52 Rutgers Prep 46 | Boys | Somerset County Tournament Final

Gill St Bernard’s(20-5) have won all three games this season against division rivals & reigning Somerset County champs Rutgers Prep(18-9). Down 9 in the 3rd quarter, Freshman guard Connor Junker lead the way for the Knights with 15 points, 12 of them coming from beyond the arc. Dorsett Mulcahy also added 12 points for the Knights, while Jacob Canton lead the Argonauts with 15 points.

Middle Twp. 42 Holy Spirit 32 | Girls | Cape-Atlantic League Tournament Final

Game MVP Reagen Powell scored 15 points as the second-seeded Panthers overcame a slow start to win their first CAL title since 2016. Sarah Farrow added nine points and 15 rebounds in the victory for Middle (22-5). Megan Kane and Lauren Cella scored 10 points apiece for the fifth-seeded Spartans (18-9) in the loss.
