Red Bank Catholic 67 Christian Brothers Academy 54 | Boys |Founders Cup

Notre Dame football commit Kevin Bauman played out of his mind and dropped a career-high 31 points as Red Bank Catholic captured its first Founders Cup win. Christian Brothers Academy led 26-25 at the half before Bauman proceeded to score 23 points after the break.

Mike Dabas had a career-high 27 points to go along with 7 rebounds to lead the Eagles to a 19th straight win and a 22-1 overall record. James Anderson added 19 and Bobby Pirie had 14 points and 10 boards in the win. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has highlights from the top seed in the upcoming Central Jersey Group 4 playoffs:

Toms River North 82 New Brunswick 67 | Boys

Toms River North picked up its eighth straight win with an 82-67 win over New Brunswick (16-5) to improve to 21-3 on the season. The Mariners were in the driver’s seat all game long, only trailing in the opening minutes of the first quarter. Najae Hallenbeck and Mike Van Sprang each finished with a double-double while Jakari Spence had 26 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists for a triple-double. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:


Middle Twp. 54 Gloucester Catholic 24 | Girls | 2020 SJIBT Showcase Game

The Panthers pick up a blowout win over the Rams to extend its winning streak to seven games. Kate Herlihy (game-high 22 points) and Kira Sides (21 points) scored early and often to pace Middle Township offense. Mycala Carney scores a team-high ten points in the loss.
