Moorestown 49 Eastern 38 | Eastern Holiday Tournament Final

The Quakers raced out to a 17-4 lead after the first quarter and held off the Vikings to capture the Eastern Holiday Tournament title. Kevin Muhic led a balanced Moorestown attack with 15 points. Evan Francisco and Logan Jagodzinski each added 11 points in the win. Noah Klinewski scored a team-high 14 points for the Vikings in the loss.

Lincoln 52 Long Branch 38 | Neptune Holiday Jubilee Semifinal

Lincoln picked up its third straight win with a 52-38 victory over Long Branch to start the season (3-0). The Lions, locked in a tight battle all night long, were a defensive threat, creating 29 turnovers. Lincoln would go up by ten to begin the fourth quarter and then held onto that lead until the end. Dremar Hopkinson finished with 14 points while Toriano Munford had 13. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

Saint John Vianney 52 Gill St. Bernard’s 40 | Girls Basketball | SJV Winter Joust

Emma Bruen had 13 points and Katie Hill added 12 points and 6 boards to lead a balanced Lancers attack and a perfect 2-0 mark in the SJV Winter Joust.
