Bergen Catholic 28 Don Bosco 7 | Non-Public A Final
The Crusaders fell behind 7-0 in the first before scoring 28 unanswered points to cap off a perfect 12-0 season and the undisputed #1 ranking in New Jersey high school football. Saeed St. Fleur and Ryan Butler combined for 265 yards rushing and Steve Angeli threw a TD pass in his final high school football game. The Crusaders tied the game at 7 on Jayden Bellamy’s TD catch and took the lead on Ryan Butler’s second-quarter TD run. DJ Samuels upped the lead to 21-7 in the third quarter and Butler closed out the scoring with a 45-yard run.

Caldwell 42 Jefferson 21 | North Group 2 Final
Caldwell (12-0) made program history by becoming the first Chiefs team to finish with 12 wins following their 42-21 victory over Jefferson (7-6) for the North Jersey, Group 2 Regional Championship. The game looked all but over in the first half as Caldwell jumped out to a 20-0 lead in the second quarter. Jefferson, missing starting quarterback Boston College commit Peter Delaportas due to injury, rallied back on two passing scores from Eric Garv to Theo Fisher to trail 20-14 in the third. However, two fourth-quarter touchdowns from Pat Capozzoli and Harry Boland put the game out of reach late. Capozzoli ended the day with 106 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, Boland had 134 total yards of offense, two rushing touchdowns, a receiving score, and two interceptions on defense.
