DePaul Catholic 28 St. Joe’s Mont. 21 | Super Football Conference
The Spartans got the taste of last week’s overtime loss out of their mouth’s with a resounding win on Saturday. Ohio State commit Dez Jones caught two touchdown passes – including the eventual game-winner in the fourth quarter – to aide in the win for DePaul Catholic (8-1). Derek Zammit accounted for four total TD’s (three pass, one rush) and Nolan James logged 176 yards. St. Joe’s (5-4) took a one-point lead into the fourth quarter but could not hang on when the game opened up. Nate Bailey was spectacular in the loss – he picked up 204 yards and one touchdown on Saturday.

Marlboro 22 Toms River South 16 (OT) | Central Jersey Group 4 Quarterfinal
Christian LaFonte’s third touchdown run of the game from 15-yards out gave Marlboro a spot in the section semifinals for a third straight year. Marlboro trailed Toms River South 16-6 in the fourth quarter before storming back. LaFonte scored from a yard out to make it 16-13 and after a holding call wiped out the go-ahead touchdown, Max Luzio booted a 30 yard field goal to tie the game 16-16 and force overtime. TRS kicker Chase Ford made three field goals but hit the left upright in the first overtime from 41-yards out opening the door for LaFonte to end the game with his extra effort run. Marlboro will face top seed Millville on Saturday in the CJ Group 4 semifinals.

Hun 56 Peddie 6| MAPL
Hun QB Jack Moran wrapped up one of the greatest seasons in New Jersey high school football with a 524 yards passing and seven touchdown passes in his final high school game. The Charlotte commit finished his senior season with over 4,500 passing yards and a staggering 47 touchdown passes in just 10 games playing a national schedule. Wake Forest commit Bryce Kania had three touchdown catches and topped 1,000 receiving yards in his senior season. Hun finishes the year with a 10-0 record.
