County and conference championship season comes to an end today in the Garden State and we shut this chapter with a bang. We’ve got highlights from Bergen County, Essex County, Union County, Mercer County and South Jersey with some stellar games. Stay tuned throughout the day as all of our coverage rolls in!
St. Benedict’s Prep 1 West Orange 0 | Boys | Essex County Tournament Final
The Gray Bees defended their spot as reigning ECT champions in 2025 in a game that went down to the wire. Tied 0-0 in the 79th minute, a pass landed at Nathaniel Addo and the sophomore turned to nail the go-ahead goal in a game feature two nationally-ranked programs. St. Benedict’s Prep (15-0-1) holds onto their No. 1 national ranking while West Orange (18-2), ranked No. 14 in the country, played an incredible game along the way.

Notre Dame 2 Princeton 1 (OT) | Boys | CVC Tournament Final
After battling to a 1–1 draw earlier this season, it was the Irish who came out on top in a dramatic rematch. Tied at 1 heading into overtime for the second time this season, Nick Angiolino became the hero, scoring the golden goal that secured Notre Dame (17-1-2) their first CVC title—and their first conference championship since 2013. Nick Colter opened the scoring with his first goal since the season opener, while Princeton’s Simon Danos Peltekian netted his first since September 19. The Irish avenged last season’s final loss to Princeton (16-4-1) and now look ahead to the Prep A Quarterfinals, where they’ll face St. Joseph (Met.).

Ramsey 3 IHA 1 | Girls | Bergen County Tournament Final
The Rams are having a season for the ages and now officially have added some hardware along the way. Sporting a lofty national ranking, Ramsey (19-0) captured the program’s first-ever outright Bergen County championship Saturday afternoon. Hope Ernst, Lizzie Rubin and Emma Cengarle all contributed goals in the victory. The Rams split last year’s BCT championship with Ramapo after a scoreless draw. Ramsey currently holds the nation’s No. 13 overall ranking and they head into states with an absurd amount of momentum.
JSZ’s Sean Dugan has the highlights from River Dell:
Mount St. Dominic 4 Livingston 1 | Girls | Essex County Tournament Final
The Lions have evolved into one of the state’s premiere teams in 2025 and now have something to show for it – their first-ever county championship. Led by star seniors Lena Tusche and Gianna Camporeale, Mount St. Dominic (20-0) rallied from a halftime deficit to win. Tusche, a Vanderbilt commit, had a piece in every goal – she scored twice and assisted on the two others. Camporeale scored twice along the way, too. Livingston (14-3-1) took a first-half lead thanks to a goal from Dina Bojkovic.

Princeton Day 1 Allentown 0 | Girls | CVC Tournament Final
The Panthers’ undefeated season faced a challenge against the only team they had tied with earlier in the year — the Redbirds. But Juliana Hartman’s second-half goal and Mae Braswell’s eight saves in net led Princeton Day (18-0-1) to its first CVC championship, ending Allentown’s 14-game unbeaten streak (16-3-1).
