Roxbury 28 Chatham 27 | Super Football Conference

The Gaels defense stopped a two-point conversion with :47 seconds left in the game to give Roxbury (4-2) a third straight thrilling win.  Roxbury took a 28-21 lead on DJ Banfetti’s 28-yard touchdown run with 2:21 to go in the fourth.  Chatham (3-2) responded with Ryan Hogan launching a deep ball to Michael MacAniff to put the Cougars in the red zone.  The same combo hooked up for a 13-yard TD to make it a 28-27 game.  The Cougars elected to go for two and the lead with Shep Boyd getting stuffed out of the Wildcat formation.  Roxbury QB Frankie Falco had two TD runs and a TD pass to Ryan Valentine in the win.

Somerville 41 Summit 20 | Big Central Conference

The Pioneers were not afraid going on the road to face off against one of the BCC’s last remaining unbeaten teams. Powered by a bevy of long-distance touchdowns, Somerville (5-1) picked up a huge road win on Saturday afternoon. Freshman QB Dylan Boehm went 13-16 for 356 yards and four touchdown passes in the win. James Hampton, Dario Lozano, Justin Bowen and Aidan Vesuvio-Bush each contributed touchdown catches of 45-plus yards in the win. Lozano had a pair of TD grabs while Vesuvio-Bush tacked on a rushing touchdown, as well. Summit (5-1) had trouble generating offense and their day was highlighted by a 75-yard pick-six from Gavin Schnall in the first quarter.

Winslow Twp. 26 Camden 8 | West Jersey Football League

Down 8–7 at halftime, the Eagles soared back with a dominant 19-point third quarter, fueled by Jalen Parker’s 318 passing yards and three touchdowns. UConn commit Quayd Hendryx led all receivers with seven catches for 119 yards, including the game’s final touchdown. With the win over Camden (4-2), Winslow (4–2) extends its winning streak to three games, each victory coming by at least 13 points.

Hillsborough 42 Westfield 21 | Big Central Conference

After falling behind 14–0, Hillsborough turned to senior running back Andrew Schwarz, who delivered four touchdowns and 134 rushing yards to carry the Raiders’ offense. Quarterback Devon Khurana added 257 passing yards, connecting often with twin brother Shane to keep drives alive. Hillsborough (2–4) spoiled Westfield’s Senior Day with a 42–21 victory, while the Blue Devils (2–4) dropped their second straight.

Rutherford 34 Cresskill 6 | North Jersey Interscholastic Conference

After a down offensive day in a win last week, the Bulldogs came out on Saturday afternoon with a point to prove. Myles Balchan led Rutherford (5-0) with two touchdown passes and a touchdown run to get the Bulldogs offense back on track after scoring only three points in a Week Four win. Rutherford takes over sole control of first place in the NJIC’s Liberty division with the win. Cresskill (3-2) scored their lone touchdown off a trick play in the fourth quarter.
