Bergen Catholic 34 Don Bosco Prep 30 | Super Football Conference
Bryan Porter caught a Trey Tagliaferri pass and broke tackles and weaved through the defense for a 38-yard touchdown with :15 seconds left to give Bergen Catholic an epic win against their archrival. Don Bosco Prep built a 24-0 first half lead capped off by a Kane Ramos 36-yard interception for a touchdown. Bergen Catholic rallied in the second half. Trailing 24-14 in the 4th quarter, Tagliaferri connected with Jamel Hammary for his second TD catch of the game to cut the deficit to 24-21. Then the University of Oklahoma commit went up top to Porter for a 28 yard touchdown to give the Crusaders a 28-24 lead. Don Bosco responded with a Carson Schoen 2-yard TD run to make it 30-28 with 1:47 left. The Crusaders (3-2) were on the verge of getting into field goal range before Porter sealed the deal. Porter had 11 catches for 169 yards and two touchdowns with Tagliaferri throwing for 341 yards and five TD passes. Don Bosco (5-1) got 175 yards rushing from Ca’Si Thomas and 118 yards receiving from Isaiah Alvarez.

Union 24 Plainfield 0 | Big Central Conference
Union is now 5-1 for the first time since 2021 as the Farmers shutout Plainfield (2-4) 24-0 on Saturday afternoon. On offense, senior RB Jamir Hall had two rushing touchdowns to bring him to 10 on the season. Senior WR Elijah Greene had a receiving touchdown in the game, as well as an interception on defense. Speaking of defense, the Farmers front seven wreaked havoc on the Plainfield pass game all day long, forcing numerous sacks.

Pennsauken 17 Trenton 8 | West Jersey Football League
DaiShaun Lassiter’s two first half touchdowns were enough to power Pennsauken (4-2) past Trenton (2-4). Lassiter added touchdowns 9 & 10 of the season, while Marcus Matthews came through on defense with an unofficial three-sack performance.

Chatham 7 Roxbury 3 | Super Football Conference
Chatham (3-3) and Roxbury (4-2) battled through a defensive slugfest, with the Cougars finding the end zone for the first time all day midway through the fourth quarter — and that was enough! QB Ryan Hogan powered in from three yards out for the game’s only touchdown as Chatham held on for the win.
