It’s another busy Saturday of action around the Garden State and Jersey Sports Zone has more great highlights. Check out all of our recaps throughout the evening!

Red Bank Catholic 49 CBA 45 | Boys | Founders Cup

Tyler Burnham had 16 points and 13 rebounds and Ryan Prior had a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards to give RBC a second straight win over the Colts in their annual game for the Founders Cup.  Deadlocked at 32 through three quarters, RBC opened up a nine-point lead in the fourth before CBA made a run to close within one in the final minute after a Connor Andree baseline jumper made it 46-45.  But the Colts missed two looks in the closing moments and Prior sank a pair of free throws to seal the win for RBC.  Will Bradley led the CBA scoring with 14 points.

St. Peter’s Prep 52 Rumson-Fair Haven 20 | Boys

Nico Pena’s game-high 15 point performance and Jackson Tindall’s 14-point game led the way for the Marauders in a lopsided win at The Barn. Pena shot the ball well from beyond the arc and Tindall threw down a pair of dunks for St. Peter’s Prep (9-2) in the win. RFH (8-3) struggled offensively with the Marauders’ suffocating defense – the Bulldogs only had seven points at the halftime break.

South Brunswick 63 Monroe 52 | Girls

South Brunswick (11-2) picked up a seventh straight win following a 63-52 victory over GMC Red rival Monroe (7-4). The Vikings trailed Monroe 23-11 after one, but were able to cut the deficit to 31-28 going into halftime. A big third quarter from Cynai Price would give South Brunswick the lead and the Vikings never looked back. Price finished with 15 points, Katie Rausch had 16 and Leilani Pinder led all scorers with 25 points.
