The week starts with three more soccer games from around New Jersey!


Montclair Kimberley Academy 3 Millburn 0 | Boys

The Cougars finish September as winningest team in Essex County – and that’s saying something considering the level of talent in this soccer-rich community. Senior goalie Alex Provost made 10 saves on the day while Lucas Furlonge, CJ Dike and Braeden Keegan all scored goals for MKA (9-1). Millburn (3-5) will turn right around to face Top 20 program West Orange on Wednesday.

Delsea 2 Timber Creek 1 | Boys

The Crusaders continued their winning ways as they handed the Chargers their first loss of the season and bolstered their lead in the TCC Liberty Division. Erluin Morales Torres proved to be the difference as he delivered the go-ahead goal in the 67th minute. Anthony Satero netted his third goal of the season for Delsea (7-1), which picked up its fifth-straight victory. Billy Luxama scored a goal in the loss for Timber Creek.

Point Pleasant Boro 5 Southern Regional 0 | Girls

Elise Viggiano scored a pair of goals to up her team-leading goal total to seven and the Panthers recorded their sixth straight shutout to improve to 8-0 on the season.  Gabby Mellett, Kayden Cilento, and Lily Scalabrini also scored for Point Boro who had a 3-0 halftime lead.
