Senior Isaac Ball put on a show in the second half with a pair of goals to push the Colonials to 5-1 on the young season in a win against a divisional foe.

Princeton 2 Steinert 0 – Boys
Monday’s Colonial Valley Conference matchup featured a pair of 3-1 teams in Princeton and Steinert giving fans an early preview of a possible Mercer County Tournament Final. Following a scoreless first half Nicola Carusone and Nicolas Petruso scored for the Tigers while goalie Jared Bell collected 10 saves. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

Eastern 6 Cherry Hill West 0 – Girls
The Vikings are the consensus top-ranked team in the state, and they flexed their muscle against the Lions. La Salle commit and reigning Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year Kelli McGroarty finished with a hat trick for Eastern. Rutgers commit Riley Tiernan had three assists to give her 53 for her career, which is a new school record.

Rumson-Fair Haven 3 Manasquan 2 (OT) – Girls
Chase Boyle took a feed from Katie Aglione 51 seconds into overtime to give the Bulldogs their third victory of the season. Boyle, a Division I lacrosse recruit, shows that she has skills on the soccer pitch as well. JSZ’s Rich Chrampanis has the highlights from a great Shore Conference rivalry:
