Bad weather over the weekend forced Monday afternoon football and our cameras hit the road for the conclusion of two exciting matchups. Watch our Monday 9.11 coverage below!

St. Joe’s (Mont.) 21 Don Bosco Prep 0 | Super Football Conference

Numerous lightning delays from Saturday into Monday afternoon could not stop the Green Knights from winning their home-opener. St. Joe’s Mont. (3-0) got massive contributions from the offense and defense before this game was officially called with 10:00 left in the fourth quarter. Patrick Grusser had 229 yards and a TD pass, Yasin Willis pounded in a pair of goal line touchdowns and the defense came up with two key turnovers in the win. Don Bosco (1-2) was shutout in the truncated game and will look to rebound in a tough test against St. Joseph Prep (PA) this Friday night.

Trenton 27 Hamilton West 21 | West Jersey Football League

After a 48 hour delay due to inclement weather, Trenton (2-1) defeated Hamilton West (0-3) 27-21 on the road. Play resumed with 1:34 remaining in the second quarter, following a touchdown from Christian Patterson to give West a 14-13 lead, a kick return score from Miyon Stevenson would put the Tornadoes back in front. The Hornets capitalizing on a botched punt attempt were able to score late in the fourth quarter or another one point lead, but a touchdown and interception from junior Zavon Minney in the closing minute would seal the game.
