JSZ brings you two great tournament finals for you from across the Garden State! Red Bank Catholic beats Colts Neck to win their 1st Shore Conference Title in 15 years, Plus Montclair Kimberley takes down Gill St. Bernard’s in a rematch of last years Prep B Tournament Final.
Red Bank Catholic 9 Colts Neck 1 | Shore Conference Tournament Final
Lily Hagan pitched a complete game five hitter with six shutout frames and nine strikeouts after giving up a run in the first inning and the Caseys bats produced ten hits and nine runs to win the first Shore Conference softball title since 2010. Nicole Knox had two hits and three RBI’s with Grace Lombardi and Sophia Lasater adding two RBI efforts. The Caseys knocked off two time defending state champion St. John Vianney 1-0 in the semifinals and won the tournament as the #3 seed.

Montclair Kimberley 5 Gill St. Bernard’s 3 | Prep B Tournament Final
In a rematch of the 2024 Prep B Tournament Final, it was Montclair Kimberley (11-8) who avenged last seasons loss and took down reigning champs Gill St. Bernard’s (11-11). Liv Healey was nothing short of dominant this game with a 7 inning complete game, striking out 7, and going 3/4 with an RBI at the plate. The Cougars three-run first inning and the small ball was crucial to their Prep B Tournament Championship win. This is MKA’s first championship win since 2014.
