The Shore Conference Tournament titles were up for grabs on Monday at Monmouth University. Rumson-Fair Haven and Manasquan delivered a back-and-forth thriller in the boys title game, while the RFH girls secured their third-straight SCT crown. Rumson-Fair Haven 15 Manasquan 14 (OT) | Boys | Shore Conference Tournament Final

Joseph Whitehouse scored with 2:05 left in overtime for his second goal of the game to cap off an epic comeback by the Bulldogs to win the school’s 10th Shore Conference boys lacrosse title.  Manasquan led 14-11 in the 4th quarter before RFH stormed back.  Grayson Goldin tied the game 14-14 to set the stage for Whitehouse and his overtime heroics.  Luke Lydon had a four goal game for Rumson, while Manasquan’s Brandon Kunz was incredible with a seven goal effort.  Manasquan had a 10-8 lead in a frantic first half before the pace slowed in the second half yet still produced 11 more goals.

Rumson-Fair Haven 17 Southern 7 | Girls | Shore Conference Tournament Final

The top-seeded Bulldogs scored in bunches as they cruised past the third-seeded Rams to bring home their third-straight SCT championship. Loyola commit Rachel James poured in a game-high five goals, while Chloe Kelly added four goals in the victory. George Washington commit Daisen Iwan went for a hat trick and an assist for Rumson-Fair Haven (13-4), which won its eleventh SCT title overall. Navy commit Delaney Falk and Avery Smith netted a pair of goals for Southern (10-6) in the program’s first trip to the Shore Conference Tournament title game.
