Princeton Day 9 Gill St. Bernard’s 6 | Boys | Prep B Final

Princeton Day defeated Gill St. Bernard’s 9-6 to raise their first Prep B Championship since 2017. GSB led 4-2 at halftime, but a pair of goals from junior Sebastian Rzeczycki would tie the game to begin the third quarter. Rzeczycki would score two more times in the fourth to put PDS ahead and eventually secure the victory.

West Essex 12 Montclair 11 | Boys | Essex County Tournament Quarterfinal

Jack Massotto’s six-goal outburst was the boost that the Knights needed to advance in the Essex County Tournament. Massotto scored at least one goal in each quarter in the win for fifth-seeded West Essex (6-5). Anthony Drago scored the 100th goal of his career and Andrew Adams pumped in the go-ahead goal with 3:20 left in the fourth quarter. Fourth-seeded Montclair (4-7) fought all game long thanks to a six-goal game from Luca Ward. West Essex advances to face top-seeded Seton Hall Prep in the semifinals on Wednesday.

Red Bank Regional 14 Middletown South 9

Henry Spener and Ryder Villani each had four goals and Andrew Pape beat the buzzer to cap off the first quarter as part of his three-goal, two-assist effort as RBR improves to 10-1 with its ninth straight win.  Spencer, signed with Air Force, had a six-point game while Delaware signee Villani added five points.
