Ridgewood 4 Northern Highlands 2| Public – North Semifinal

No. 13 Ridgewood avenged their two previous losses to No. 12 Northern Highlands on Monday in a big way, defeating the Highlanders 4-2 in the Public-North semifinals. The Maroons started out the night with two goals within a minute of each other late in the first period: one by freshman Liam Sherland and one from sophomore phenom Will LoSauro that went end-to-end.

LoSauro added yet another coast-to-coast goal early in the 2nd period, and brother AJ scored Ridgewood’s fourth goal of the night to start out the 3rd. Carter Beswick and Augie Ratner found the net on power play and short-handed goals late, respectively,  but the damage had been done.

The Maroons will now face No. 15 Ramapo in Thursday’s Public-North final at Mennen Arena.

Robbinsville-Allentown 6 Manasquan-Pt. Pleasant Beach 4 | Public – South Co-Op Semifinal

The Ravens surged to a 5-0 lead in the second period, but the Warriors fought back, scoring four consecutive goals to make it a one-score game. James Morino sealed the victory for second-seeded Robbinsville-Allentown (21-5). Jake Lachance recorded his 10th hat trick of the season, marking his 52nd goal in New Jersey this year. Third-seeded Manasquan-Point Beach (15-7-2) battled until the final horn, but it was the Ravens who punched their ticket to the South Co-Op Final at Codey Arena. There, they will face North Hunterdon-Voorhees, with a trip to the Rock on the line.
