Nottingham 73 Trenton Catholic 63 | Boys | Mercer County Tournament First Round

(3) Nottingham (18-5) advanced to the Mercer County Tournament Semifinals with a 73-63 win over (6) Trenton Catholic Prep Academy (14-10). The Northstars led 35-22 at halftime and extended their lead to double digits in the second half behind a big performance from senior Dom Raymond. Despite the deficit reaching almost 20, TCPA was able to cut the lead to five in the fourth quarter behind sophomores Javion Cesar-Jones and Isiah Gore, who both finished with 16 points. The Iron Mike’s would fall short of a late comeback as Dom Raymond ended his night with 31 points, fellow senior Jordan Raba had 20.

Camden Catholic 61 Eastern 58 (OT) | Boys | Camden County Tournament Quarterfinal

Luke Kennevan took over in OT to lead the seventh-seeded Irish into the Camden County Tournament semifinals. Kennevan scored a team-high 24 points, while freshman Bryce Clark added 16 points. Sean Welde hit a clutch three-pointer with seven seconds left for Camden Catholic (14-9) to force overtime. Max Portnoy was outstanding down the stretch for second-seeded Eastern (22-4), finishing with 24 points in the loss. The Irish will face third-seeded Haddonfield in the next round on Wednesday at Camden Eastside.
