Delbarton 71 Morris Catholic 30 | Boys | J.P. Flynn Memorial Tournament

A remarkable second quarter put forth by the Green Wave helped them rout the Crusaders and win big at home. Delbarton (3-1) outscored Morris Catholic (1-2) 25-2 in the second and would never look back from there in a first round win in the J.P. Flynn Memorial Tournament. Michael Van Raaphorst scored a game-high 12 points in the victory for Delbarton, while Mike Vaccaro (11 points) and Lincoln Zimmerman (10 points) reached double digits.

Toms River North 52 Central Regional 29 | WOBM Christmas Classic | Girls

Megan Sias had a fantastic all-around game with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Arliana Torres added 16 points and 7 steals as the Mariners cruised into the semifinals of the WOBM Christmas Classic’s Ray Cervino bracket and a matchup with #2 seed Manasquan.

Rumson-Fair Haven 45 Toms River East 26 | Girls | WOBM Christmas Classic

Raquel Guidetti had 15 points to lead RFH into the semifinals of the Kathy Snyder bracket and a matchup against Wall this Wednesday.  Julia Corsentino got into early foul trouble and the Ranney transfer stepped up.  Her floater beat the first-quarter buzzer to give RFH an 8-7 lead and the Bulldogs pulled away from there.  Corsentino hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the final minute to give Rumson a 24-12 halftime lead.

Mainland 59 Neptune 28 | Girls | Score at the Shore Opening Round

Ava Mazur scored 23 points while Bella Mazur went for 19 points to lead the Mustangs over the Fliers. Kasey Bretones added 13 points in the win for Mainland (5-0). Christa Ramos scored a team-high ten points for Neptune (1-3) in the loss.
