Jayden Hodge poured in a career-high 30 points as the Purple Roses bested the Argonauts in a Top-20 Garden State showdown. Hodge only scored two points in the first quarter but turned his game up a notch soon after for St. Rose (3-1). Evan Romano chipped in 20 points and eight rebounds for the Purple Roses in the win. Jacob Canton led Rutgers Prep (3-2) with 20 points in the loss.

College Achieve Asbury Park (National) 66 Middle Twp. 60 | Boys | Boardwalk Basketball Classic
The Knights built a big lead in the first half and then held off the Panthers down the stretch. Roselle Catholic transfer Eric Hillsman led College Achieve with 20 points. Former Camden Catholic standout Tobe Nwobu added 10 points in the win for the Knights (6-2). Rider commit Jamir McNeil scored a game-high 21 points, while Chase Moore added 11 points for Middle (3-1) in the loss.

Paul VI 58 Ewing 37 | Boys
The Eagles dominated in the second and third quarters, outscoring the Blue Devils 35-15, on their way to their second-straight victory. Isaiah Thomas led the way with a team-high 18 points in the win. Clinton Suggs added ten points, while Ibrahima Cisse chipped in with eight points for Paul VI (3-1). Davion Morton hit four three-pointers to finish with a team-high 18 points in the loss for Ewing (2-2).

Hopewell Valley 43 Monroe 38 | Boys
Ethan Rich had 20 points and six rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to even its record at 2-2. Rich had 10 points in the first to pace HV to a 15-5 lead. Joe Porpora had 15 for the Falcons (0-2).
