Notre Dame 5 Robbinsville 3
In a matchup of two undefeated Mercer County teams, Notre Dame handed Robbinsville their first loss of the year to remain unbeaten (5-0). Despite trailing by two in the first period, the Irish with three unanswered goals rallied in the second to take a brief lead. As the game sat tied in the third, Carson Skove found net to put ND ahead once again. Skove and Sam Kraus each finished with two scores. JSZ’s Nery Rodriguez has the highlights:

Gloucester Catholic 3 Pope John 0
The Rams bounced back from a Sunday night loss against Don Bosco with a shutout win over the Lions. Chris Liscio stopped all 18 shots he faced in net. Nick Fascia and Matthew Frett both scored for GC, with Tyler Carter adding an empty netter to seal the victory.

Seton Hall Prep 3 Manasquan 1
After suffering two straight losses to Don Bosco and Portledge (N.Y.) to open the season, Seton Hall Prep got right and won their first game of 2019 against Manasquan of the Shore Conference. Kyle Bishop, Alex Kuhtik and Sal Betro all scored in the win.
