Southern Regional 4 Toms River North 3 (OT) | Boys

80 minutes wasn’t enough to settle things between the two best teams in the Shore Conference Class A South. Kevin Kiernan scored a golden goal for the Rams in overtime to give Southern a dramatic win over the previously undefeated Mariners. Kiernan also converted a penalty kick in regulation, while John Paul Prosperi scored two goals in the victory as well. Ali Baish, AJ Emnace and Parker Nickelsen all scored for North in the loss.

Gill St. Bernards 3 Monroe 3 | Boys

A battle between two of New Jersey’s top unbeaten teams did not disappoint Monday night, despite the fact it ended in a draw. Monroe, led by two goals from Christian Bernal, held a 3-0 lead on Gill St. Bernard’s into the second half. Micaah Garnette sparked a stretch of three goals in seven minutes to even things up. However, the match was called in the 94th minute due to darkness.
