The state playoffs are underway. JSZ brings you two Monday games highlighted by PK drama between Immaculata and Paul VI!
Paul VI 4 Immaculata 1 | Boys | South Jersey Non-Public “A” 1st Round
Chase Giambri netted two goals in the final six minutes of regulation as the eighth-seeded Eagles fended off a charge from the ninth-seeded Spartans. Immaculata (6-9-1) appeared to net a tying goal on a penalty kick, but the officials waved off the goal due to no whistle being blown to start the play and the retry would miss off the post. Kelley McCallion had a goal and an assist for Paul VI (7-11). John Mark Camilio netted his first of the season in the loss for Immaculata. Paul VI will travel to face top-seed Pingry on Thursday.
