CBA 2 St. Augustine 1 (OT) | Boys | Non-Public “A” South Semifinal

TCNJ commit James Brady netted a golden goal just twelve seconds into overtime to send the second-seeded Colts to a sectional final. Will Drechsler opened the scoring in the 28th minute on a PK for his ninth goal of the year in the victory for Christian Brothers Academy (16-2-4). John Lamanteer leveled the match in the 62nd minute with his 14th goal of the year in the loss for third-seeded St. Augustine (18-3-1). CBA moves on to face top-seeded Pingry for the Non-Public “A” South title on Thursday.

North Brunswick 1 Marlboro 1 (Raiders win 4-3 in PK’s) | Boys | Central Jersey Group 4 Semifinal

Alex Andino made seven saves in the first 100 minutes and a key stop in the five round of penalties gave the #9 seed a spot in the Central Jersey Group 4 championship game.  Chris Licota gave North Brunswick a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute before Marlboro drew even in the second half on a Vinny Pollifrone goal.  The Raiders did not miss in the PK’s while the Mustangs missed two.  North Brunswick will face the winner of Old Bridge and Hunterdon Central this Friday in the CJ Group 4 final.

Paul VI 3 Red Bank Catholic 0| Girls | Non-Public “A” South Semifinal

Paul VI (22-0) are having as good of a season as any team could hope for. The Eagles come in nationally ranked among the top high school girls’ soccer teams in the country, having already captured the South Jersey Coaches Cup. Now, they’re just one win away from claiming the Non-Public “A” South title. North Carolina lacrosse commit Emma McCarthy opened the scoring in the third minute, while PVI’s leading goal scorer Hunter Kintzing added her 20th of the year. Virginia commit Kylie Berk capped off the scoring late in the second half as the Eagles shut out Red Bank Catholic (13-5-1) to set up a championship showdown with Trinity Hall on Thursday.
