Thunderstorms and an hour-long lightning delay had no adverse effects on Ridge Monday. The Red Devils (5-3-1) scored four first half goals and tacked on an additional two more in the second half to pull away from Lakeland (5-5) and snap their three-game win streak. Jack Krikston led the way with two goals, while Matias Hornos, Ryan Poignant, Antonio Gomes and James McKeon scored the rest.

Monmouth Regional 1 Manalapan 1 | Boys
Monmouth’s Andy Sanchez scored in the 69th minute and Manalapan’s James Bruno responded three minutes later to give the Braves a 1-1 tie and up their unbeaten streak to nine matches (7-1-2 overall). Manalapan was two players down in double overtime due to red cards and was able to hold off the Falcons quest for a golden goal.
