This grueling match went over 90 minutes into double overtime before Sean Tarsatana scored his team-leading 22nd goal to lift the third-seeded Minutemen past the sixth-seeded Cougars. Township senior goalie Gabe Stone was a stone wall in net, posting a season-high 12 saves. Washington Township (16-1-2) extends its unbeaten streak to 17 with the win over Cherry Hill East (13-5-1) and will face the winner of Ocean City and Seneca in the semifinal on Wednesday in Cherry Hill.

Shawnee 2 Eastern 0 | Girls | South Jersey Coaches’ Cup Quarterfinal
Abby Sallade had herself quite the day for the defending champs as she netted a pair of goals to send the Renegades back to the Coaches’ Cup semifinals. TCNJ commit Madeline Dubler and Lacey Abrams teamed up to pick up a clean sheet in net for second-seeded Shawnee (15-1), which picked up its 12th-straight victory. Ava Feeney and Sophia Vana had six saves each in the loss for tenth-seeded Eastern (10-7-2). Shawnee will face third-seeded Cinnaminson in the semifinals on Wednesday in Cherry Hill.
