Pennington 3 Hightstown 0 – Boys Mercer County Tournament Semifinals
No. 3 seed Pennington has won the last four Mercer County tournaments and punched a ticket to their fifth-straight final Monday in a 3-0 handling to 10-seed Hightstown. Pennington star Mansour Diop netted a pair of first half goals to build a lead, and Babacar Naing tacked on one more in the final minutes.

Notre Dame 5 Princeton 2 – Boys Mercer County Tournament Semifinals
Danny Bensch scored two goals to lead the Notre Dame attack giving him 22 for the season and the Irish won their 11th straight game to reach the MCT finals and a matchup with defending champ, Pennington. JSZ’s Kenneth Bradley has the highlights from Hopewell Valley:

Washington Twp. 2 Egg Harbor Twp. 1 – Boys S.J. Coaches Tournament Quarterfinal
Minutemen pressure led to an Eagles own goal with ten seconds left in the game, as 11th-seeded Washington Township advanced to the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association Tournament semifinals. Ryan Cleary scored on a set piece to give the the Minutemen a 1-0 lead, before E.J. Martin answered with a goal for the third-seeded Eagles with five minutes remaining. Washington Township will face second-seeded Clearview in the semifinal round on Wednesday night in Cherry Hill.

Moorestown 2 St. Augustine 0 – Boys S.J. Coaches Tournament Quarterfinal
The Quakers stun the top-seeded Hermits in the quarterfinals of the South Jersey Soccer Coaches Association Tournament. Junior Evan Buckley broke a scoreless tie in the 73rd minute with a goal off a rebound. Sophomore Cade McGrath iced the game in the final minute with a breakaway goal. Moorestown advances to face fourth-seeded Kingsway in the SJSCA Tournament semifinals on Wednesday night in Cherry Hill.
