The conference tournaments reach the later rounds this week and JSZ starts off with some great Monday action around the state!

Middletown North 2(5) Long Branch 2(4) | Boys | Shore Conference Tournament Quarterfinal

It took 100 minutes, and then some, to find out who would advance into the SCT semifinals on Monday. Despite never holding a lead, No. 13 seed Middletown North fought tooth and nail to capture a shootout win over No. 12 seed Long Branch. The Lions went 5-5 on their shots in the shootout period and secured the win with Mac Colantino’s right foot shot.
