Plenty of teams return from the holiday break as JSZ hits the hardwood for a pair of great matchups in high school basketball. Northern Burlington and Allentown go down to the wire in a double OT thriller, plus the Gloucester Catholic girls take on Washington Township in a rematch of last year’s TCC Tournament final. Check back as the highlights are posted throughout the night!
Northern Burlington 82 Allentown 74 (2OT) | Boys
On a night honoring the 2025 Group 3 Baseball State Champions, it was the basketball team that stole the spotlight in a thriller. The trio of senior Rowan Boyce, junior Erick Torres, and freshman Quincy Washington combined for 68 of NBC’s 82 points. Boyce poured in a career-best 26, Torres recorded his second 20+ point performance in three games, and the dynamic first-year Washington raised his season average to 17.7 PPG. Northern Burlington (5-2) outlasted Allentown (4-4) in what could be a game-of-the-year candidate, securing their third consecutive win.
